Athletics

The Nativity School is commited to providing a competitive yet educational athletic experience to its students. We participate in athletic competitions throughout the school year with the North County Parochial League (NCPL) with our 5th through 8th grade students (while sometimes including 4th graders). As part of the Catholic school mission to educate the whole child, we will focus on character development and sportsmanship as we teach our student athletes the fundamentals of football, volleyball, basketball, and soccer.

We promote sportsmanship as stated in our school's Code of Sportsmanship:

Sportsmanship Code of Behavior:

The Nativity School promotes cooperative teamwork and positive attitudes when playing any sport. Team members, coaches, parents and spectators are all expected to conduct themselves with the high standards we hold: respect, patience, enthusiasm and self-control.

This year we are again very excited to host our volleyball and basketball programs in the Holy Family Activity Center, which is also used for numerous other school functions.

As The Nativity School's Athletic Director, I am quite enthusiastic about the 2012-2013 school year and I invite you visit this website frequently for the latest information on Nativity's Athletic Program.
